Hello world!

Hi! I’m just an Angelfish moved from my cosy little fish bowl to a polluted sea….now I’m still struggling to get used to it and most importantly is to SURVIVE!!!

I need a break….

Date: 28th Aug 2009

Time: 4.36pm

Venue: Underwater Ptd Ltd, Angelfish’s cubicle

My right eye getting more and more swollen… now almost 1/3 of my right eye view was blocked sigh….. I want to rest…….very tired….

Closing my eyes, I’m imagine myself standing on the beach of Desaru with dear dear :) enjoying the breeze and listening to the waves….

But what I really wish to see is snow ^_^

anyway better stop dreaming and start working if not later need to OT :P

P/s: hope my eye get better :P

Surprises……where are you now?? I need you, kind of miss you already :)

Been going through the same routine everyday, maybe some good news or surprises will help to brighten up my life :)

Every morning woke up, feel like pressing the “Replay” button again to start my day, and everything seems to be replaying once again sigh….

Everyone loves to hear good news and have surprises every now and then :) it sounds easy but in reality not all :)

It is impossible to always have good news and if surprise is something that you need to ask for, then it is no longer can be consider as a surprise :)

Busy July ^_^

Hmmm this month will be a busy month ^-^ .

That is because dear dear’s convo is coming ^_^ but so coincidence that it was at the busiest time for Underwater Ptd Ltd sigh… below are the list of task I need to complete within this month:-

  • Preparing to welcome new fishes who are coming to join Underwater Ptd Ltd at th end of July.
  • Prepare all the documents and packages for all the new fishes as a goody bag for welcoming them.
  • Plan series of big events for Underwater Ptd Ltd
  • Review and approve all the annual reports from every fish staff in Underwater Ptd Ltd (must review very carefully cause if it is not done properly it will affect the salary and bonus of all the fish staff in company) -maybe because of that my goldfish eyes lately got dark rings and seems like more bulging than they used to be :P   sigh….must remember to drop some eye drops :P
  • Sigh….endless meeting with IT Dept hope all those systems can be implement as soon as possible…
  • And a big event of Underwater Ptd Ltd will be held also in July, I’m in charge of all the registration sniff…sniff… that means first contact with all the participants I scare got H1N1  Fish Flu……… (cause now the sea currently Angelfish working is listed under one of the affected country sea.)
  • Entering datas into system before deadline …etc

In order to make sure I can get the leave to attend dear dear’s convo I’ve promised Whale Shark (my boss) to finish all the tasks before 20 July 2009!!

Oops must stop at here, cos must make sure done everything on time :P Must roll up my sleeves scales work hard!!! Gambateh!!!

Interesting quotes

My friend sent me an email contain a lot of interesting quotes. I’ve selected a few which I quite like :)

‘Blessed is the man who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed’

I totally agree with this :) without expectation you will never be disappoint :) -Dr Angelfish

Promises are like the full moon, if they are not kept at once they diminish day by day

If a promise were made but not to keep then why bother to promise right? -Dr Angelfish

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever”

I couldnt agree more :) – Dr Angelfish

“Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word ‘happy’ would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”

There is no measurement for happy or sadness in this world. All depend on how he/she to decide what is happy and what is sad (after all it is up to you to decide whether the glass is half- full or half-empty)-Dr Angelfish

Hong Kong am I able to visit you this year?

Today Wendy told me they are planning to go to Hong Kong end of this year and ask me whether am I interested?

Of course I am!!! Imagine all the dim sums, milk tea (can dine in one of those traditional char chan teng) plus all the roadside stall foods (stinky taufu -Dear dear said very nice wor!, and Kar Li Yu Dan-Curry Fish ball)

The confirmation list as below:-

Confirm

  • Evelyn and her boyfriend
  • Rachel and her boyfriend
  • Wendy
  • Janice

To be confirm….

  • Angelfish and Devilfish
  • MNi and boyfriend

I’ve sms to Dear liao but he replied “Should be ok need to confirm again when nearer”  therefore I didn’t dare to confirm with my friends. I tried to explain to Dear that he need to 100% confirm cause we need to book the air ticket now sigh….but until now still no reply…I guess he must be busy….

Anyway base on his workload I don’t he is able to take 7 days leave for the Hong Kong trip sigh…… he is very pitiful couldn’t take leave at all no weekends to enjoy, no time to rest at all…..

Hmmmm….think about it, maybe I shouldn’t force him to go should let him rest…..but I really wish him to go with us………..should…shouldn’t……should……shouldn’t……..should…..shouldn’t…….Arrgghhh let nature take it’s course :)

“Words are not meant to be hurtful, should use it to say I love you…”

3

1. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

2. Place your trust in me. It’s crucial to me.

3. Be aware that I’ll never forget all the good things about you.

4. Before you scold me, ask yourself if there’s something might be bothering me.

5. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand, I will still be your only audience.

6. Remember before you hurt me (with words), that I have a mouth that could hurt you too, but I choose not to hurt you.

7. Take care and protect me whenever I need you.

8. You have your work, your stresses, and tiredness. So am I.

9. Life is fragile, I’m not sure how long my life span will be. Any separation from you will be painful for me.

10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember I love you…

Just another boring day….

Hmmmm…..today as usual wake up early go to work, it’s just another boring day of work. After work I suddenly remember Devilfish will be on-call so that means there he won’t be able to call me tonight. I decided to go some where to walk around rather than stay alone at home :P

6.20pm: Reached a shopping mall nearby my house, went to my favourite place Harris and Popular.

6.45pm: Harris doesn’t seems to have any nice books, so I decided to go to Popular (plus I’m a Popular Card member got 10% off :)

7.30pm: I manage to get 2 books and a board game (looks quite interesting, I think Devilfish will like it :) after work he often looks very tired so usually I didn’t dare to suggest to go somewhere too far or went out too late. I think board game is nice cause we can stay indoor and play it and most important Devilfish won’t be too tired ;) The 2 books that I bought are Slumdog Millionaire by Vikas Swarup (I’ve watched it’s movie which I think it is very nice, so I decided to buy it’s novel. Yesterday after read a few chapters I found out it is a bit different from the movie, well I guess that was normal cause normally the scriptwriters will change a bit in order to make the movie more interesting.) and My Story by Dave Pelzer (My Story it combines all the 3 books of Dave Pelzer “A Child Called It” + “The Lost Boy” + “A Man Named Dave” and it’s not very expensive I still can afford :) so immediately I bought it) Actually I choose quite a few items and books but after counting my budget I decided to buy 2 books and a board game, I think I really should cut down on reading I have been spending quite a lot buying books recently no wonder my mum keep on scolding sigh…..

7.45pm: I bought one Ramly burger (which taste sucks…) and a bowl of soup (which looks like glue…) for my dinner (I must admit I bought these foods cause they are the cheapest food I can find among the stalls in the bazaar, how did I know they are the cheapest ? That is because I walk to all the stalls and compare the prices before I buy my dinner hahaha…..I admit I’m a bit “auntie”

8.10pm: Reach home, starting eat my dinner (munching, spit, munching, spit “I know it is gross but hey! cannot blame me I didn’t expect inside a burger there’s a lot of tendons thingy inside! Don’t ask me what is it? I don’t know and I don’t really want to know… plus the glue like soup really sticky but it is really filing so to make sure my stomach won’t growl in the middle of the night I pinch my nose and drank it!)

9.00pm: Watch variety show on tv (luckily my room still got a TV)

9.30pm: Shower time~

10.00pm ~ 11.00pm: Watch drama

11.00 ~ 11.30pm: Read ”Slumdog Millionaire”

11.40: After sms to my dear Devilfish, yawn~ sleeping~

“What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others” ~Confucius~

At first I’m really envy my friends who able to travel to a lot of countries, But Confucius he was right, “What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others” In my case, I didn’t have the chance to travel and I shouldn’t hope other people also didn’t have the chances to travel like me. Instead I’m feel very happy for them to be able do something that I can’t (hahaha maybe for this 3-4years only) and feed me with lots of information and also souvernirs ^_^

Last but not least I would say “Envy is a waste of time” hahaha….ok time back to reality got to work hopefully can save up enough money to fulfil my own dreams ^_^

Wish me good luck~

Please be more careful…..
